Elizabeth Jáuregui, LCSW

Welcome! I am a dedicated clinical social worker specializing in child and adolescent therapy. With over 13 years of experience supporting children and their families with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges in schools before moving to private practice, I have a deep understanding of the intricate support needs of young minds and the multifaceted dimensions of child development and mental health. I am deeply committed to fostering a safe and nurturing environment where young people can explore, grow, and build confidence in themselves and their abilities.

I specialize in addressing a spectrum of issues that confront children and adolescents and I work to build on each individual’s inherent strengths as a component to help move them forward. I utilize a wide range of treatment methods including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) skill-building, play therapy and art therapy techniques, social-emotional learning (SEL), and mindfulness skill-building.  My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual under my care.

I am continuously amazed and inspired by the capacity of children to learn, adapt, heal, and make changes in the face of overwhelming obstacles and adversity. Whatever it is that your child or adolescent is struggling with, know that you are not alone on this journey to support them. I hope to meet you and your child soon!

Session Rate: $170/50 minutes

Sliding Scale Available

No Surprises Billing: My rate is $170.00 per 50-minute session. Due to the variable needs of clients, a good faith estimate can be provided after an evaluation. It is important to be aware that a number of factors impact length of care, including but not limited to: duration and severity of the issue, level of client engagement, and motivation. I value client choice and that the level of service is clinically appropriate. Clients in my practice have variable frequency of sessions, from multiple times a week in high acuity situations, to a few times a year or only as needed.
